Brandi passante became an overnight star after her performance on A&E's reality series 'StorageWars. The show also included Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner who dated her for a long time and is now her husband. In this reality show, items from storage lockers where rent is not paid after three months of rent will be auctioned. Brandi and Jarrod, who are the owners of and run the "Now and Then thrift shop located in Orange, California, participated on the show with the desire to purchase storage units at low costs. They had no idea of the potential to make them superstars in real life! Through the series they proved to be meticulous bidders, and were subsequently the stars of the show. Their popularity on reality television which boosted their businesses. Along with managing their own shop, they opened a second one. Their appearance in "Storage Wars" led to a spin-off show "Brandi & Jerrod Married to the Job' exclusively focusing on the couple.
