16 September 1958, Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard conditions. Her mother was a teacher and failed actor, and her father was a salesman for cars. Jennifer was the youngest of four kids in her family often accompanied her mother to her theater performances and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's parents divorced when she was 5 years older. Jennifer was a resident of British Columbia for most of her childhood following the divorce of her mother, along with the others moved there. Jennifer wasn't a very artist, even though she was an artist as a kid. When she was in Canada she was the subject of bullying often. As her love for theatre was fading, she began to participate in shows to support her mom. She was inspired by her mom to inspire all the children in the family to pursue a love of and interest for art. After that, she took actions.
